About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the Finance & Accounts function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting business decision-making through financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, Inventory Accounting, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), product margins, and inventory controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
• Maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Support external audits, internal audits, VAT filings, Excise filings, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, and payables to support working capital management.
• Assist in training and guiding junior accounting staff while ensuring accounting accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory costing, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
