We are building a modern accounting firm focused on relationships, innovation, and helping both our clients and team members thrive long-term, and we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client accounting team and grow with us.

Highlighted Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage recurring accounting work for multiple clients, serve as a quality control layer between junior staff and firm leadership, and help ensure client deliverables are accurate, timely, and well organized. In this role you will:
- Oversee payroll workflows including deadlines, changes, approvals, and issue resolution
- Manage recurring accounting work across a portfolio of clients
- Review bookkeeping prepared by junior staff and identify coding errors, missing information, reconciliation issues, and unusual transactions
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting preparation
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve open items, and answer routine accounting and payroll questions
- Maintain client-specific checklists, procedures, and recurring workflow documentation
- Serve as the first point of escalation for routine accounting and payroll questions
- Support and coach junior bookkeeping staff through review notes and hands-on guidance
- Escalate higher-level accounting, compliance, or client relationship issues to the Director of Accounting
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or client accounting experience
- Experience working across multiple clients, entities, or business units preferred
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, bookkeeping review, payroll workflows, and month-end accounting
- Ability to review and correct work prepared by others with a high degree of accuracy
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients in a professional, responsive manner
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and payroll platforms preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must reside in the United States and legally authorized to work
- Interest in growing toward Accounting Manager, Controller, or advisory-level responsibilities over time
