About Us
Oiltek Trading SP LLC is a rapidly expanding oil & gas supply chain company that supplies valves, fittings, cables, engineered packages, and industrial equipment to ADNOC and major EPC/EPCM contractors. We are seeking an experienced Accountant – Bank Guarantee Expert with strong hands-on experience in banking operations, specifically bank guarantees, PBGs, ABGs, PPBGs, LCs, and other trade finance instruments, to manage and oversee our banking and finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Banking & Guarantees Management (Primary Responsibility)
Primary responsibility: Oversee and independently handle bank guarantees (BGs), performance bank guarantees (PBGs), advance bank guarantees (ABGs), and PPBGs for project financing and execution.
- Prepare, submit, track, follow up, amend, extend, reduce, and close BGs, PBGs, ABGs, and PPBGs in line with project requirements and contracts.
- Liaise directly with banks for BG / PBG / ABG / PPBG, TR / LG facilities, and ensure timely issuance, amendments, and renewals.
- Manage Letters of Credit (LCs), trade finance instruments, and associated documentation for international and domestic transactions.
- Track expiry dates, limits, and bank utilization of all guarantees and ensure no guarantee expires without action.
- Maintain detailed trackers and records of all guarantees, LCs, and banking facilities with banks.
- Handle all bank formats, documentation, submissions, and coordination independently.
Accounting Operations
- Manage daily accounting entries including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, journals, and bank entries.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and handle project billing.
- Enter supplier invoices and perform bank reconciliations.
- Monitor basic cash flow movements and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
- Support the preparation of monthly closing and basic financial reports.
VAT Compliance & Documentation
- Manage UAE VAT computation, filing, and documentation, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper financial records to support audits, bank confirmations, and regulatory checks.
Operational Support & Documentation
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial and banking documentation.
- Maintain organized records related to banking, guarantees, and project financial documentation.
- Support management with any banking- or finance-related documentation and reporting.
Requirements
Mandatory: Proven, hands-on experience in:
- Bank Guarantees (BGs, PBGs, ABGs, PPBGs)
- Letters of Credit (LCs)
- TR / LG banking facilities
- Direct coordination with banks in the UAE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in trading, contracting, or oil & gas sector.
- Strong experience in managing banking documentation and trade finance instruments.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT and basic accounting standards.
- Good Tally skills (tracking, reconciliations, reporting).
- Good communication, organization, and follow-up skills.

- Salary is strictly capped at AED 6,000 per month.
