Senior Accountant – Construction

Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior Accountant with 10–15 years of experience in the Construction industry. The candidate should have strong knowledge of project-based accounting, statutory compliances, and financial control. The role requires independent handling of accounts for multiple construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle complete accounting of construction projects

Maintain project-wise accounts, cost tracking, and budgeting

Prepare Monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow

Manage GST compliance for construction (Input credit, RCM, Returns)

Handle TDS (194C, 194J) and subcontractor payments

Monitor contractor bills, RA bills, and retention money

Track material inward, consumption, and reconciliation

Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable

Coordinate with Site Engineers, Vendors, and Contractors

Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory laws

Assist in internal and statutory audits

Liaise with Banks, Auditors, and Consultants

Required Qualifications & Skills:

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (Preferred)

10–15 years of accounting experience, minimum 5+ years in Construction

Strong knowledge of Construction GST & TDS provisions

Hands-on experience in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

Good working knowledge of MS Excel (MIS, Reconciliation)

Knowledge of project costing and budgeting

Ability to work independently

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
