ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance for a fast-growing IT company. This is a hands-on role for someone with 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience who takes genuine pride in clean books, accurate reporting, and financial clarity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Manage daily bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company standards. Process invoices, payments, expense claims, and petty cash with full documentation. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Build and maintain Excel-based financial models, trackers, and dashboards. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate historical data. Ensure FBR compliance, withholding tax calculations, and audit-ready documentation at all times. Identify inefficiencies in existing accounting workflows and propose practical solutions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce — B.Com, M.Com, or BBA Finance. 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience. Advanced Excel skills are non-negotiable — PivotTables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, financial modelling, and dashboard creation must be second nature. Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and financial statements. Strong numerical accuracy — you catch errors others miss. Full availability for 1 PM to 10 PM, Monday to Saturday, on-site in Karachi.

Preferred: ACCA, CA Inter or Finalist, or CIMA. Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP. Prior exposure to international client billing or multi-currency accounting.
