Senior Accountant (Food & Beverage Industry)

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing accounting operations within multi-unit restaurant, café, or hospitality environments and possess a strong understanding of inventory, cost control, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and reconciliations.
• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Monitor food, beverage, and operational costs and provide variance analysis.
• Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of inventory and stock movements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, suppliers, and government authorities as required.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Supervise and support junior accounting team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in the Food & Beverage, Restaurant, Hospitality, or Retail sector.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP and accounting systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
