As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be part of a high-performing team that serves owner-managed businesses across various industries. You’ll work directly with partners and managers who are committed to mentoring and supporting your professional development. From preparing files start to finish to mentoring junior staff, this role offers both autonomy and hands-on learning. We’re a teaching organization at our core: you’ll have the freedom to take on challenging work, the guidance to grow your technical and leadership skills, and the support of a team that genuinely wants you to succeed. Key Responsibilities Prepare review and compilation financial statements and tax returns in accordance with firm standards Complete corporate, personal, trust, and GST tax returns, including T4s and T5s Perform bookkeeping tasks and assist clients with corporate record setup and maintenance Communicate regularly with partners, managers, and team members Mentor and train junior staff Apply professional judgment and decision-making in client engagements Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills Work independently and collaboratively within a team Maintain a solid understanding of ASPE, CSRE 2400, and CSRS 4200 Audit experience under Canadian Auditing Standards is an asset, though not required Qualifications CPA designation (Canadian or equivalent reciprocal), or completion of the September 2025 CFE 3+ years of public accounting experience, including review and compilation engagements Strong client service orientation Positive, team-focused attitude Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods Proficiency in CaseWare/Caseview, Word, and Excel; familiarity with TaxPrep and other accounting software is an asset What We Offer Competitive salary range: $52,000 to $80,000 per year, with starting salary within the range based on experience and qualifications.
