Senior Accountant (Job Code: ZEK.005.26)

• Job Scope:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee accounting operations, financial reporting and compliance, ensuring accuracy of financial records in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

• Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

- Manage general ledger, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies and local regulations.

- Handle AP, AR, bank reconciliations and VAT reporting.

- Coordinate with auditors and support month-end and year-end closing.

- Monitor budgets, costs and project-related financial transactions.

- Strong IFRS knowledge and experience with ERP systems.

- Prepare financial reports for management review.

- 8–10 years of relevant accounting experience in Kuwait (construction/contracting preferred).

- Bachelor’s of commerce or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

- CMA advanced-level certification preferred.

- Good command of English language, Arabic is a plus.
