Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant based in Oman to manage and oversee accounting operations for our group companies operating across Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The role requires strong expertise in multi-entity accounting, regional tax compliance, inventory management, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Manage full-cycle accounting for group entities in Oman and UAE

•⁠ ⁠Oversee accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and general ledger management

•⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with VAT and tax regulations across Oman and UAE

•⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate inventory accounting and cost tracking for pharmaceutical distribution

•⁠ ⁠Prepare MIS reports, profitability analysis, and financial insights for management

•⁠ ⁠Support pricing decisions, margin analysis, and working capital optimization

•⁠ ⁠Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial controls across entities

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities, and cross-border stakeholders

•⁠ ⁠Maintain proper documentation for intercompany transactions and reporting

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠B.Com degree or higher in Accounting / Finance

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 6+ years of experience handling accounts of medium-sized organizations

•⁠ ⁠Proven experience managing multi-entity or cross-border accounting environments

•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards and regional tax frameworks (Oman & UAE)

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in Tally, MS Office, and e-Pharmacy / pharmaceutical inventory systems

•⁠ ⁠Fluency in English (mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠Fluency in Arabic is an advantage

•⁠ ⁠Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated distribution industries

•⁠ ⁠Exposure to inventory-heavy and distribution-focused business models
