Senior Accountant-Payroll & Rider Finance (Food Tech )

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to handle large-scale rider and employee financial operations within a Food Tech / Delivery environment. The role is heavily focused on high-volume payroll, riders’ balance sheet management, deductions and clawbacks, and financial reconciliation across multiple aggregators. The candidate will work closely with HR, PRO, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial controls. Rider & Employee Balance Sheet Management

● Manage and maintain individual rider balance sheets for a large rider workforce

● Track rider earnings, advances, deductions, penalties, incentives, fines, clawbacks, and recoveries

● Ensure accurate rider-wise reconciliation between internal systems, payroll, and aggregator statements

● Monitor outstanding rider balances, prepare aging reports, and follow up on recoveries

● Identify discrepancies, high-risk balances, and control gaps, and report to management Payroll & Compensation

● Handle end-to-end payroll processing for a large employee and rider base

● Manage salary calculations, deductions, clawbacks, advances, overtime, incentives, and penalties

● Ensure payroll accuracy aligned with attendance, performance, and aggregator payout data

● Process payroll in compliance with UAE WPS and labor regulations

● Manage final settlements, leave encashments, and end-of-service benefits (EOSB) Aggregator & Food Tech Financial Operations

● Manage accounting and reconciliation for multiple food delivery aggregators

● Verify aggregator payouts, commissions, penalties, incentives, and adjustments

● Prepare aggregator-wise financial reconciliation and variance reports

● Analyze rider earnings vs aggregator statements to ensure accuracy and profitability

● Support management with aggregator performance and cost analysis reports HR & PRO Financial Coordination

●Work closely with HR on onboarding/offboarding-related financial matters

● Track and control visa costs, labor card fees, medicals, insurance, fines, and renewals

● Coordinate with PRO team to monitor government-related payments and compliance costs

● Maintain accurate employee and rider-related financial records Accounting, Reporting & Controls

● Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documentation

● Prepare monthly payroll, rider cost, and manpower analysis reports

● Support budgeting and forecasting related to manpower and rider operations

● Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies

● Assist in internal and external audits, especially payroll and rider-related audits

Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

● 4–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in Food Tech, Delivery, Logistics, or Aggregator-based businesses

● Proven experience handling large rider/employee payrolls and balance sheets

● Strong hands-on experience in deductions, clawbacks, recoveries, and reconciliations

● Good knowledge of HR & PRO-related financial processes in the UAE

● Experience working with multiple aggregators and high transaction volumes

● Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting/payroll systems

● Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and WPS compliance Skills & Competencies

● Strong analytical and reconciliation skills

● High attention to detail and accuracy

● Ability to manage high-volume data and tight deadlines

● Excellent coordination with HR, PRO, Operations, and Finance teams

● Experience handling thousands of riders or blue-collar workforce

● Experience in gig economy or rider-based payroll models

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
