Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably working with international clients or US-based companies. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in US Accounting processes, GAAP standards, QuickBooks, and Xero. This role involves managing full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and communicating directly with US clients.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for US-based clients.
• Execute Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Ledger Posting, Journal Entries, and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.
• Perform Month-end & Year-end closing, adjusting entries, and financial review.
• Process vendor bills, expenses, employee reimbursements, and payments.
• Handle Payroll preparation and compliance based on US guidelines.
• Collaborate and communicate with international clients via email / Zoom meetings.
• Work on accounting platforms like QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Sage, NetSuite, etc.
• Monitor internal controls and ensure accuracy & compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide support for tax preparation and audit requirements when required.
• Review junior accountants’ work and guide them professionally.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Accounting/Bookkeeping experience (US Accounting preferred).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce (M.Com, MBA Fin, CA-Inter preferred).
• Strong command over US GAAP, reconciliations & financial reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online / QB Desktop / Xero mandatory.
• Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines, multitask & work independently.
• Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and client satisfaction.
