About the Role
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Finance Controller / Senior Finance Executive to take ownership of core controllership activities and support a rapidly scaling healthcare business. With new clinics, geographical expansion, and upcoming funding rounds, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-speed, high-accountability environment and wants to play a key role in strengthening the finance function.
Key ResponsibilitiesControllership and Accounting
- Oversee and review daily accounting activities handled by the external CA firm
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end book closure
- Review journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial schedules
- Maintain consistent accounting hygiene across multiple clinics and business units
P&L and Multi-Location Reporting
- Prepare and review P&Ls for each clinic or location
- Ensure correct cost allocation and expense categorization
- Monitor vendor payments, validate supporting documents, and oversee AP/AR processes
Compliance and Statutory Requirements
- Verify TDS deductions, GST workings, returns, and statutory compliance
- Coordinate with auditors, external consultants, and tax teams
- Ensure timely filings with zero non-compliance
Stakeholder Coordination and Process Management
- Work closely with the Finance Lead on process improvements and finance transformation
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and consultants for reconciliations, statements, and query resolution
- Support the transition of finance operations from outsourced to in-house
Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in book closure, accounting supervision, reconciliations, and compliance
- Hands-on understanding of accounting processes and financial controls
- Ability to manage urgency, handle frequent escalations, and operate efficiently under pressure
- Confident decision-maker with strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills
- Experience in early-stage or rapidly scaling organisations is an advantage
- Inter-CA or CA candidates are preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
