About the Role

Bamx Investment is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development or construction, with proven expertise in vendor management, project cost control, and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice verification, approvals, and payments.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accounts are current and accurate.
• Coordinate with procurement, project management, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate cost allocations.
• Monitor and maintain project-related expenses, ensuring compliance with budgets and contract terms.
• Prepare monthly AP reports and assist with month-end closing.
• Ensure all accounting records comply with company policies and audit standards.
• Identify and support process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Accounts Payable, including at least 2 years in real estate development or construction.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, VAT, and cost control.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
