Job Description
Trusted Space is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or higher and 10 - 15+ years of experience to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of advanced cislunar mission concepts, leveraging state-of-the-art trajectory design and mission engineering to push the boundaries of lunar and deep space operations
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across systems engineering, propulsion, GNC, and software teams to perform complex analyses and guide mission-critical trade studies
• Establish robust validation protocols to ensure technical integrity and enable rapid transition from early-stage concepts to flight-ready systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering
• Proven expertise in spacecraft trajectory modeling and simulation, including proficiency with tools such as NASA’s General Mission Analysis Tool (GMAT)
• Deep understanding of orbit determination techniques, including implementation of Kalman filters, particle filters, and related methodologies
• Experience with trajectory design and orbital dynamics for Lunar and Cislunar missions
• Proficient in modeling both low-thrust and chemical propulsion systems
• Strong programming capabilities in Python for aerospace applications

Desired Skills

• Master’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related technical discipline
• Proficient in Git for version control
• Familiarity with the Basilisk simulation framework for spacecraft dynamics and control
• Experience working with large code bases with multiple interacting components.
• Strong knowledge of spacecraft navigation systems and techniques, including state estimation and sensor integration

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $150,000-$195,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary.
