Job Title: Senior AI Application Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: Contract

We are hiring a very senior, hands‑on AI‑first engineer to build and ship end‑to‑end AI solutions rapidly using modern agentic coding workflows.

This role is centered on AI‑driven development, where tools like Claude, Cursor, and other LLM agents generate most of the solution, and engineers steer, validate, and integrate.

You’ll work in small, high‑velocity “vibe coding” pods, delivering production‑ready AI applications in days—not weeks

Key Responsibilities

Build end to end AI powered applications rapidly using AI assisted and agentic coding workflows
Leverage LLMs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) to generate, refactor, and evolve large portions of the codebase
Design and implement RAG pipelines, MCP servers, and agent-based workflows
Deliver working solutions quickly — prototypes that evolve into production systems
Collaborate closely in small pods, emphasizing speed, iteration, and shared ownership
Validate, harden, and integrate AI generated code into reliable, maintainable solutions

Key Requirements

AI first development mindset with heavy reliance on AI coding agents
Recent (last 6-12 months) hands on experience using tools like Claude / Cursor / agentic IDEs
Proven ability to build and ship full solutions end to end
Experience with GenAI, RAG pipelines, MCP servers, or AI agents
Comfortable in fast moving, experimental teams with high ownership
