Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in developing, deploying, and scaling advanced machine learning and generative AI solutions. This role is designed for someone with deep skills in core AI areas (LLMs, deep learning, data pipelines, and MLOps), while being comfortable exploring adjacent technologies.

You’ll work on end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, from data preparation to production deployment, and lead initiatives that push the boundaries of Generative AI, LLM customization, and AI-first applications. You will also mentor team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy ML/DL models for NLP, Computer Vision, or multimodal use cases.
• Work with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Keras, Hugging Face, JAX, Diffusers.
• Apply transfer learning, fine-tuning, and optimization techniques for LLMs and generative models.
• Fine-tune and customize LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, Grok, etc.) for domain-specific tasks.
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), PEFT (LoRA/adapters), quantization, and prompt engineering.
• Build and deploy generative systems for text, images, or speech.
• Develop and maintain ML pipelines with MLflow, Kubeflow, TFX, or ZenML.
• Use Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable deployments.
• Monitor and manage deployed models (performance, drift, retraining cycles).
• Build robust data pipelines using Apache Airflow, Spark, or Dask.
• Handle large, complex datasets with proper feature engineering and augmentation strategies.
• Deploy and manage ML workloads on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock), GCP (Vertex AI), Azure ML, Hugging Face Spaces.
• Ensure fairness, explainability (SHAP, LIME), and compliance with GDPR and AI regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in AI/ML development.
• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and developers to deliver impactful AI solutions.
• Stay updated with AI research (arXiv, NeurIPS, ICML) and apply learnings to production solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
• Working familiarity with R, Julia, Scala, or Java is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) for ML workloads.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git for scalable ML deployments.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Diffusion Models, and RAG pipelines.
• Strong data engineering skills with Spark/Dask, and managing large-scale datasets.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and lead AI/ML initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying AI in Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, or E-Commerce.
• Experience with Edge AI and IoT platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, TPUs).
• Contributions to open-source, patents, or publications in AI/ML.
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, Auto-GPT).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• PhD or research experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
• 5–7+ years of experience in AI/ML roles, with proven impact in production systems or R&D projects.
