Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Air Quality Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of air quality regulations, advanced technical expertise, and a proven track record of leading complex projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.
Duties
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of environmental compliance projects, including: Title V and NSR air permit applications, performing emissions calculations, compliance assessments, and regulatory applicability determinations, supporting clients with compliance reporting and recordkeeping, and tracking regulatory changes.
- Develop innovative solutions to address complex air quality challenges.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Conduct advanced air quality modeling and data analysis.
- Prepare and review detailed technical reports and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local air quality regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory changes in air quality management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biosystems, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in air quality engineering, with a proven track record of managing large and complex projects.
- Deep expertise in air quality engineering.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in air quality modeling and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
