Senior Air Quality Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Air Quality Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of air quality regulations, advanced technical expertise, and a proven track record of leading complex projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.

Duties

  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of environmental compliance projects, including: Title V and NSR air permit applications, performing emissions calculations, compliance assessments, and regulatory applicability determinations, supporting clients with compliance reporting and recordkeeping, and tracking regulatory changes.
  • Develop innovative solutions to address complex air quality challenges.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Conduct advanced air quality modeling and data analysis.
  • Prepare and review detailed technical reports and regulatory submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local air quality regulations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory changes in air quality management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biosystems, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in air quality engineering, with a proven track record of managing large and complex projects.
  • Deep expertise in air quality engineering.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in air quality modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
