Senior Allen Bradley PLC Programmer - Denver, CO

GRD is looking to hire a skilled Senior Allen Bradley PLC Programmer to design and program control systems. You will be traveling to clients' locations, analyzing system requirements, writing and installing custom programmable logic code, testing system efficiency, and providing operational support.

To ensure success as a PLC programmer, you should have excellent knowledge of compression and oil and gas processing, the ability to work with minimal supervision and experience in PlantPAx programming.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Traveling to clients' locations.
• Meeting with clients to discuss their mechanical or electrical automation needs.
• Drawing electrical or mechanical schematics to demonstrate how processes will work.
• Developing and installing programs using automation software and custom coding languages.
• Determining automation test criteria before the final installation.
• Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Troubleshooting system errors.
• Overseeing the successful installation of PLC and HMI programs.
• Documenting development processes.
• Providing clients with technical support.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum (8) years of experience.
• Proficiency in Rockwell software including PlantPAx programming utilizing Studio 5000 environment to create distributed control systems (DCS) using standardized Add-On Instructions (AOIs), pre-built library objects, and faceplates.
• Experience in Oil & Gas facility projects including some of the following areas: heavy oil facilities, well tie-ins, pipelines, compressor stations, and field gas processing facilities.
• Must live in Denver or surrounding area's.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
