CALCAP Advisors is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Senior Analyst / Associate to join its Asset Management team. This role is central to the performance reporting function of our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in real estate asset management and/or operations support, a high aptitude for technology, and the initiative to become the organization's subject matter expert across our core PropTech platform stack.
This is not a passive reporting role. The Senior Analyst / Associate will own the full lifecycle of portfolio performance data — from extraction and validation in Yardi Voyager through synthesis into actionable insights — while simultaneously leading internal training initiatives and tracking platform adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio & Asset Performance Reporting -
- Produce and maintain a daily, weekly, and monthly reporting package covering occupancy, leasing velocity, financial performance, aged receivables, work order metrics, lease expiration exposure, and whatever else is needed across the portfolio.
- Monitor key performance indicators at both the property and portfolio level, flagging material variances and providing narrative context to leadership.
- Coordinate with property operations teams to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy within Yardi Voyager and connected platforms.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis, underwriting support, and due diligence requests as directed by asset management leadership.
- Develop and refine dashboards, templates, and automated reporting workflows to improve efficiency and consistency of data delivery.
- Technology Platform Ownership & Training -
- Become an internal subject matter expert across all platforms in the CALCAP technology stack: Yardi Voyager, EliseAI, AptIQ, ResiDesk, HappyCo, and Claude AI, to name a few.
- Design and deliver structured onboarding and ongoing training programs for property-level and corporate team members on each platform.
- Build and maintain internal training documentation, SOPs, and reference guides for each system.
- Track and report on platform adoption rates across the organization, identifying usage gaps and working cross-functionally to drive adoption.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for platform-related questions and coordinate with vendors on support issues, product updates, and integration improvements.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage platform capabilities to improve operational workflows and reporting outcomes.
Required Qualifications -
- Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate with a background in asset management, portfolio management, or property operations support.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze operational and financial data and summarize and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data management/analysis.
- Comfortable working within property management software platforms; prior Yardi Voyager experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of learning new software platforms quickly and achieving deep functional proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with the initiative to work independently and drive projects to completion without close supervision.
Preferred Qualifications -
- Prior experience with one or more of the following platforms: EliseAI, AptIQ, ResiDesk, HappyCo, or Claude AI.
- Experience designing or delivering internal training programs or SOPs within a real estate or property management organization.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows and PropTech innovation in the real estate sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting acquisition due diligence or investment reporting functions.
Technology Stack -
Proficiency is not required on day one — but mastery is the expectation. The Senior Analyst / Associate is expected to achieve subject matter expert status within a defined timeline.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
