Job Overview
As a member of Sakon, your passion for finding data driven and analytical insights will be a key enabler to the success of the department.
As a Data Analyst, you would create and enhance data solutions enabling seamless delivery of data and would be responsible for collecting, parsing, managing, and analysing large sets of data across multiple sources.
Role requires knowledge of data modelling principles to prepare a final structure for the processed data, knowledge of algorithms for transformations and performance tuning, and familiarity with multiple solutions for keeping data like RDBMSes, NoSQL databases, and other Big Data solutions.
You will build ETL pipelines to ingest the data from heterogeneous sources into our system. You should have excellent business and communication skills and be able to work with business owners to understand their data requirements and help them make data-related decisions using your ETL knowledge and experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Understand business needs, objectives and develop processes for effective data analysis and reporting.
- Deploy & guide customer for Sakon’s best practices to improve the onboarding process.
- Maintain deep understanding of portal functionalities & vendors to design best possible solutions.
- Assemble, analyse large and complex data sets for processing & Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with Product Management, Engineering, and other teams to continuously improve and successfully onboard customers in Sakon platform.
- Support other members of the Data Analyst team develop their expertise.
- Maximize data accuracy by constructing reliable procedures; recognize any discrepancies that need immediate resolution.
- Ensure timely and accurate data models that provide management information and analysis of function performance (key performance indicators, metrics)
- Perform data validation throughout issue or new implementation lifecycle including SIT and UAT phases. Competencies and Key Skills
- Excellent English reading, comprehension and writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English with a neutral or US accent
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
- Strong skills in Advance Excel databases, data warehouses, and data processing with knowledge of various SQL/NoSQL data storage mechanisms or Big Data technologies
- Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences in presentations and demo’s
- Understanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design
- Good to have knowledge of ETL pipelines using custom or at least one ETL tool (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, BI and analytics tools etc.) Qualifications/Experience
- Any Graduate/PG, Graduate from technical background
- 6+ years of prior Data Analysis experience Shift Timings
