Analytics Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Analytics Support Engineer to join our dynamic data team. This role is ideal for a professional with deep expertise in digital analytics platforms-particularly Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker, and Tableau-and strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS-based infrastructure.

As an Analytics Support Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and maintaining robust analytics implementations, scalable data pipelines, and insightful reporting frameworks. Your work will directly influence strategic decision-making by ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and actionable data across the organization.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain web tracking solutions using GA4 and GTM.
• Develop and optimize interactive dashboards and data visualizations in Looker and Tableau.
• Write performant SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to resolve data discrepancies and uphold data integrity.
• Build and maintain Python scripts for automation, analysis, and reporting workflows.
• Support and enhance ETL processes and data pipelines within AWS environments (e.g., S3, Lambda, Redshift).
• Monitor tag deployments, conversion tracking, and analytics configurations to ensure seamless data flow.
• Create documentation, deliver training, and provide ongoing support for analytics tools and reporting platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data operations, or technical support roles.
• Hands-on experience with GA4 and GTM in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Looker and/or Tableau for building scalable dashboards.
• Strong command of Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
• Proven experience working with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and Redshift.
• Solid understanding of data governance, tracking architecture, and web analytics best practices.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or Redshift.
• Experience integrating marketing and product analytics platforms.
• Working knowledge of APIs and data ingestion frameworks.
