Position: Senior Android Developer
Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai

About the Role:
The Senior Android Developer will lead the design, development, and maintenance of native Android applications, ensuring robust performance, high-quality UI/UX, and compliance with security and scalability standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, backend developers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver best-in-class mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement modern Android development practices (MVVM, Jetpack components, Room, Coroutines, LiveData, ViewModel).
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to refine app interfaces for usability and accessibility.
  • Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and device compatibility optimization.
  • Manage app releases to Google Play Store (signing, versioning, deployment, and maintenance).
  • Ensure application security and adherence to privacy-compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, etc., where applicable).
  • Mentor junior developers, promote coding best practices, and participate in solution design discussions.
Core Skillsets:
  • Advanced proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
  • Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, Material Design, and responsive layouts.
  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose (preferred).
  • Solid grasp of mobile architecture patterns (Clean Architecture, MVVM).
  • Knowledge of mobile app security standards and secure coding practices.
  • Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools (Android Studio, Firebase, Crashlytics).
  • Familiarity with cloud integration (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with performance instrumentation, analytics, and monitoring tools.
  • Published applications on the Play Store showcasing robust functionality and designs.
