Senior Android Engineer / Architect

Senior Android Developer - UAE or Remote

The Role

• Architect and evolve the Android client platform in collaboration with senior architects
• Optimize performance, stability (ANR), memory management, power consumption and network communication
• Drive modularization and adoption of modern Android technologies and tools
• Collaborate with the security team to strengthen application security
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, improving overall development efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of Android development experience; 3+ years in architecture or system design
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java (C++ is a plus)
• In depth understanding of Android internals, performance optimization, and networking
• Strong foundation in OOP, data structures and system architecture
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Mandarin Chinese language proficiency is required for this role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in large scale Internet or platform environments
• Background in middle office or platform development
• Exposure to Android R&D pipelines or development toolchains
