We are looking for a strong Appliance or HVAC technician ready to step into a leadership role while continuing to work in the field and take on leadership responsibilities.

This is a hands-on position where you will lead a small team, drive performance, and take ownership of a growing service operation.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for running and improving a local service operation.

You will lead technicians, oversee parts operations, and take ownership of team performance, hiring decisions, and overall execution. This role is accountable for the performance of the location.

You will be in the field regularly in the early stages while also managing team performance and operations. As the team grows, the role will shift more toward leadership and oversight.

This is not a desk-only role. You will be expected to lead from the front while building a high-performing team.

This role is ideal for experienced appliance repair technicians, HVAC technicians, or field service technicians looking to step into a leadership position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of technicians, driving performance and accountability
  • Perform service calls as needed to support production and team development
  • Set and enforce diagnostic and quality standards across the team
  • Make final hiring decisions on new technicians
  • Support training and development, delegating hands-on training while maintaining final approval standards
  • Oversee parts operations and manage parts personnel through the parts manager
  • Ensure proper handling of warranty claims and job completion
  • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure resolution
  • Drive production, efficiency, and overall store performance

Requirements

  • Appliance repair or HVAC experience
  • Experience leading, training, or mentoring technicians (formal or informal)
  • Strong diagnostic ability
  • Ability to hold a team accountable to standards
  • Ownership mindset and decision-making ability

Compensation

  • $70,000 – $85,000 total compensation range based on experience and performance
  • Performance-based incentives tied to production and team performance
  • Opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role as the market expands
  • High performers in this role have the opportunity to grow into significantly higher compensation as the market expands
