- Rate Range: $120 - $180 p/hr.
Sayers Technology is hiring for our client, United Airlines.
We are seeking a Senior AI Developer to join our Application Security team and help design, develop, and implement AI-driven security solutions focused on protecting enterprise applications and accelerating secure software delivery. This role will work closely with Application Security, DevSecOps, Security Operations, and Software Engineering teams to build intelligent automation, enhance vulnerability management, and improve overall security posture using AI and Agentic AI technologies.
The candidate will have strong software development experience, deep knowledge of application security practices, and hands-on experience developing AI/ML-enabled solutions within enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions to support Application Security initiatives.
- Build intelligent automation capabilities for vulnerability analysis, remediation recommendations, secure code review, and threat detection.
- Develop and integrate Agentic AI workflows to improve security operations and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with AppSec and DevSecOps teams to integrate AI capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and secure development lifecycles.
- Develop APIs, microservices, and automation frameworks to support security tooling and orchestration.
- Support secure code analysis, software composition analysis (SCA), dynamic testing (DAST), and static testing (SAST) initiatives.
- Assist in identifying patterns, anomalies, and risks using AI/ML models and large language models (LLMs).
- Work with cloud and infrastructure teams to support scalable and secure AI deployments.
- Participate in architecture reviews, threat modeling, and security assessments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and operational procedures.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior developers and engineering teams.
- Stay current with emerging AI, cybersecurity, and application security trends and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience, including enterprise application development.
- 3+ years of experience working with AI/ML, Generative AI, or Agentic AI technologies.
- Strong programming experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Experience integrating AI frameworks and APIs such as OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of application security principles, OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, and vulnerability management tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience building APIs, automation pipelines, and scalable backend services.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI security, model governance, prompt security, or LLM risk management.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, and security automation platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, AWS Certified Security, or AI/ML certifications.
Work Requirements
- Ability to support critical security initiatives and participate in after-hours support activities as needed.
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering and security teams.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
