Banner Witcoff is seeking a full-time Senior Applications Developer. The Senior Applications Developer will oversee the design and implementation of application workflows, system integrations, databases, and related development components across the firm. Additionally, they will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other team members. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable, efficient solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for workflow-driven business processes and system integrations, most notably the Intapp and iManage platforms.
  • Analyze high-level business needs and develop effective solutions through every stage of the project, from initial design to final implementation.
  • Set and uphold standards and best practices for application developers such as design, builds, source code, and testing.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Mentor team members to foster their professional growth and promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement, efficiency gains, and innovation within the software development lifecycle, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the firm.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and reliability.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend tools and practices to improve team productivity.
  • Must maintain consistent performance with minimal absence and unapproved leave.
  • Other support duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years software development experience. Legal industry highly preferred.
  • Hands-on development experience with Intapp platform (Conflicts & Intake, Flow, etc.) required.
  • Advanced/expert level experience with Boomi required.
  • Advanced/expert SQL experience required.
  • Experience with iManage Cloud API development highly desired.
  • Experience integrating with CPi, USPTO, and other IP-related systems and agencies is highly desired.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as [e.g., C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript], with experience using relevant frameworks and libraries.
  • Proven expertise consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience developing reports using tools such as SSRS and Power BI.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document incidents and explain technical details to non-technical team members.

This position is a hybrid role, with a blend of remote and in-office work. The employee will be required to work in the office at least two days per week, or more, depending on business needs and/or work assignments. In-office specific duties include managing mail, copying, face-to-face meetings, greeting clients and visitors, team collaborative projects, as well as company events.
Banner Witcoff offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), a 35-hour workweek, business-casual attire, and a friendly office environment. The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 annually. This is an exempt position. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Washington, D.C. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
