Senior Applications Operations Engineer

• Work with team members to resolve more complex or cross-technology incidents.

• Resolve most technical incidents independently within technical area.

• Monitor, administer, and maintain Oracle Exadata and MongoDB database environments.

• Optimize database performance through tuning and resource management.

• Perform regular backup, recovery, and data protection procedures.

• Diagnose and resolve database issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of critical incidents.

• Understand and escalate scope changes per change control process.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent technical report skills.
• Very Good command of English

Proficient in managing and maintaining Oracle Exadata and MongoDB environments.

Skilled in PL/SQL development for database programming and optimization.

Experienced in using database optimization and performance tuning tools.

Knowledgeable in implementing monitoring and alerting systems such as Nagios and SolarWinds.

Strong understanding of database backup, recovery, and maintenance procedures.
