We replace traditional security cameras with smart vision systems that not only keep an eye on things but also provide real-time business insights—like spotting long lines, bottlenecks, ingredient usage, upsell attempts, and more to improve customer satisfaction. Our goal is to give restaurants the data they need to operate smarter, faster, and more profitably.

We are a seed-stage start-up. You would be the second AI scientist to join! We already have three customer contracts, with several more strong prospects in the pipeline. As we continue to grow, we’re focused on expanding our technology and proving its impact.

Senior Applied AI Scientist

Meadow is looking for a Senior Applied AI Scientist who’s comfortable working across different types of AI models—vision, audio/language, and forecasting/anomaly. You don’t need extensive experience in all three domains, but you should understand how deep learning models are built and how to adapt them to new challenges.

We’re looking for strong proficiency in Python, along with familiarity with common ML libraries, SQL, and deployment tools to get models into production. You'll be working on things like fine-tuning models and integrating AI into real-world systems. This isn’t a research sandbox—we need someone who can collaborate with backend engineers and make AI work in production.

Interview Process

The interview process consists of three phases: first an initial 20-minute screen, second a 1-hour technical interview focused on AI, and then three 1-hour interviews with the rest of the team.

Work Location

We are a remote-friendly company, working in US time zones (UTC-7 through UTC-4). At this time, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $90,000 to $170,000, depending on experience. This position also includes an equity package.
