Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Senior Architect at Studio Ardete located in Mohali district. The Senior Architect will be responsible for architectural design, project management, and integrating software development processes. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clients, creating innovative designs, and managing projects to ensure successful completion.

Job Responsibilities:

• Researches, programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
• Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
• Working with the Project Manager, may direct, supervise, and check activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
• Demonstrated leadership and coordination skills through all phases of design from concept through construction administration.
• Experience with all aspects of the building permit approval process and able to work with the building code official as the prime representative of the architect and the owner.
• Experience interfacing with sub-consultants of all disciplines to ensure timely and well-coordinated deliverables.
• Construction administration experience including ability to review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings; and interface with the contractor and building inspectors as the prime representative of the architect and the owner.
• Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
• Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture
• Minimum 4 years experience in a high-quality architectural firm.
• Strong experience in educational, commercial, and public agency projects.
• Design and graphic skills required.
• Strong communication, computer, and administrative skills are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Revit and ACAD proficiency
• Fluent use of Rhino, 3D Max or VRay, Grasshopper a plus
• Digital and analog fabrication a plus.
• Knowledge of Building materials & construction Techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,486.30 - ₹80,000.00 per month
