Senior Architect

Senior Architect at Machani Group We are looking for a hands-on, design-focused Senior Architect with 9–12 years of experience in commercial building architecture to join our team. This is not just a managerial role, you will be actively involved in designing the project, leading the creative process & translating concepts into buildable solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design sensibility, technical expertise & a portfolio of executed commercial projects, office spaces, mixed-use developments & retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

§ Lead the design process for commercial building projects - from initial concept sketches to final construction drawings.

§ Create innovative, functional & commercially viable designs tailored to client needs, site conditions & brand positioning.

§ Prepare and deliver high-quality architectural drawings, including Working Drawings, Detailed Drawings, and Tender Documentation.

§ Conduct design presentations, articulating ideas & vision to clients, consultants & internal teams with clarity and conviction.

§ Coordinate with MEP, structural, and other consultants to ensure design integrity and technical feasibility.

§ Conduct site reviews as required to monitor design implementation and provide timely solutions to on-site issues.

§ Mentor junior architects while maintaining personal responsibility for the design quality of the project.

Qualifications & Skills

§ Bachelor’s degree in architecture (mandatory)

§ 9–12 years of experience with a proven portfolio of built commercial projects (offices, retail, mixed-use)

§ Strong conceptual design and visualization skills - you must be able to design, not just manage / coordinate

§ Excellent knowledge of building codes, local regulations, construction practices, and materials

§ Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory), SketchUp & Revit (preferred)

§ Strong skills in client communication & stakeholder management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹1,800,000.00 per year
