Job Description

  • Developing Architectural Designs in line with Client specifications, budget, and local

regulatory laws.

  • Presenting Designs, proposals, and progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate among multiple disciplines and manage deliverables on schedule.
  • Leading and coordinating the work of a team.
  • Coordination of all sub consultant packages.
  • Preparing and managing all authority submission drawings and documents, uploading

submissions through authority portals (DDA, DM, DCD, Trakhees, DEWA, RTA, etc.),
coordinating with design teams and consultants for NOCs and approvals, liaising with
authorities for follow-ups, comments and ensuring full compliance with regulations and
timely approvals.

  • Collaborating with Engineers, Surveyors, Contractors and other professionals involved in

the project.

  • Review of all Drawing packages prior to issue.
  • Follow up with the Authorities’ comments and attend the meeting with Authority

Engineers.

  • Shared responsibility for writing and collating the specifications.
  • Reviewing and managing contracts and tenders
  • Ensuring that the project adheres to the planned design & quality standards.
  • Adhering to project deadlines and making necessary adjustments to keep the project on

track.

  • Staying updated on the latest Architectural trends, technologies, and regulations.

Resolving issues that come up during construction.

  • Proficiency in managing and organizing project documentation and maintaining clear

correspondence with all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
throughout the project.

  • Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings by using specialist computer-aided

design (CAD) / REVIT applications.

  • Able to work on 3D presentations.
  • Develop and produce design schemes which is viable in terms of "build ability" and in

terms of local authority guidelines.

  • Working around constraining factors such as planning legislation, environmental impact

and project budget.

  • Understanding of and ability to coordinate between the various disciplines involved in

design projects.

  • Collaborate with internal lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in

accordance with project expectations.

  • Well versed with distributing documents; and tracking and retrieving them on regular basis.
  • Proficient with maintaining the register entries for all the receipts, submission of document

and the correspondence issues with the clients.

  • Reviewing and updating technical documents.
  • Helping in the planning stages of a specific project.
  • Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion.
  • Following and improving document control procedures.
  • Producing document progress reports for senior managers.
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.
  • Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients.
  • Record and prepare minutes of meeting and circulate to the concerned.
