Position: Senior Architect
Location: Bhopal
Experience: 8–15 Years
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹1,50,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and design-driven Senior Architect to lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale residential and/or commercial real estate projects. This role involves end-to-end architectural leadership, design strategy, coordination with consultants, client interaction, and close monitoring of site execution. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual skills, in-depth technical knowledge, and proven experience in managing complex real estate and construction projects from design to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership & Planning

• Lead architectural design concepts, master planning, layouts, and detailed working drawings.
• Ensure designs align with project vision, budgets, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Review, refine, and approve architectural drawings, 3D views, and design proposals.
• Guide junior architects and design teams to maintain design consistency and quality.

Project Coordination & Management

• Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, landscape designers, and contractors.
• Review and approve consultant drawings, specifications, and material selections.
• Act as the primary architectural point of contact for management and clients.
• Ensure smooth coordination between design, planning, and execution teams.

Site Supervision & Execution

• Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction is as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Resolve complex design and execution challenges at site.
• Provide technical guidance to site engineers, contractors, and project teams.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, and architectural finishes for quality compliance.

Approvals & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local building bye-laws, development control rules, RERA, fire, and safety norms.
• Lead and support approval processes with government and statutory authorities.
• Review and manage documentation, drawings, and approval submissions.

Quality Control & Reporting

• Maintain high architectural, aesthetic, and functional standards across projects.
• Prepare project progress reports and design status updates for management.
• Identify design risks, improvements, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Support management in strategic planning and long-term project development.

Process & Team Development

• Develop architectural SOPs, design standards, and best practices.
• Mentor and train junior architects and drafting teams.
• Improve design workflows, coordination processes, and documentation quality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Architect or Lead Architect in real estate or construction projects.
• Strong expertise in residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and execution practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch); Master’s degree preferred.
• Registration with Council of Architecture (COA) mandatory/preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, BIM tools, and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of local building regulations, approval processes, and authority coordination.
