Senior Architect – Municipality Coordinator

We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Senior Architect – Municipality Coordinator to join our team in Al Ain. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in architectural design as well as extensive experience in handling submissions and approvals with UAE authorities for large-scale and diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Review architectural drawings in accordance with applicable regulations and authority requirements (DMT, Civil Defense, ADDC/TAQA, and other relevant entities).

Prepare and compile all required documentation for submissions to relevant authorities.

Manage and follow up on submissions to ensure timely approvals.

Coordinate with third parties and external stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and NOCs.

Address comments and ensure full compliance with authority feedback and design codes.

Requirements & Skills:

Minimum 7+ years of proven experience in architectural design and municipality coordination in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi building codes and international standards.

Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Hands-on experience with municipality systems such as MePS, Mersal, and other relevant approval portals.

Strong relationships and experience dealing with government authority reviewers.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage design revisions and authority comments efficiently.
