Senior Arista Engineer (Bahraini)

Experience

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise and data center networking, including previous experience with Arista or an equivalent OEM in resident engineering or service delivery roles.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting EVPN-VXLAN spine-leaf data center fabrics and enterprise campus networks within production environments.
• Prior experience as an Engineer or in long-term on-site support roles for enterprise, financial institution, or government clients is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Data Center and Campus Network Architecture, including EVPN-VXLAN, Spine-Leaf design, Layer 2/Layer 3 fabrics, MLAG, high-performance networking, multi-site campus networks, network segmentation, LAN/WAN, and High Availability (HA).
• Advanced expertise in Routing and Switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, static routing, IEEE 802.1Q, STP/RSTP/PVST+, QoS, and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience with Arista technologies such as Arista EOS, CloudVision Portal (CVP), Studios/Automation, and Arista DMF (Data Monitoring Fabric) or packet broker solutions.
• Good understanding of network security and visibility solutions, including Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, IPS/IDS, Zero Trust architectures, NDR (Network Detection and Response), and traffic monitoring/threat detection.
• Experience with automation tools and methodologies, including Python scripting, Ansible, Git-based workflows, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and network orchestration.
• Exposure to AI Data Center networking technologies is an advantage, including InfiniBand, RoCE, NVLink, NVIDIA GPU architecture, and AI workload lifecycle management.

Certifications

• Arista Certified Engineering (ACE) certification at Level 2 or higher is required; ACE L4+ certification is preferred.
• At least one recognized security certification, such as Fortinet FCA/FCF, Palo Alto, or an equivalent certification, is desirable.
• CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent industry-recognized routing and switching certifications are preferred.
