We’re seeking an Art Director to lead the visual direction of campaigns and content across digital, social, e-commerce, and video. You’ll turn briefs into distinctive concepts, guide designers and editors, uphold brand standards, and ship high-quality creative on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business and marketing objectives into clear creative concepts, storyboards, and visual systems.
- Lead end-to-end art direction for campaigns (static, motion, 2D/3D), product launches, and brand moments.
- Own creative quality: set visual standards, review work, give actionable feedback, and ensure brand consistency.
- Partner with copywriters, designers, video editors, photographers, and 3D artists to deliver cohesive narratives.
- Direct photo/video shoots and oversee post-production (editing, motion graphics, color, sound) as needed.
- Build and maintain brand/style guides, component libraries, and templates for scalable production.
- Collaborate with Growth/Performance teams to adapt creatives for channels (social, Amazon, web, CRM).
- Manage creative timelines, task assignments, and approvals in project tools; flag risks and unblock teams.
- Continuously test and iterate based on performance data without compromising creative integrity.
Must-Have Communication Skills
- Briefing & storytelling: Write crisp creative briefs and present compelling narratives that sell the idea.
- Feedback that moves work forward: Give specific, empathetic critique; receive feedback without defensiveness.
- Executive-ready decks: Build and deliver clear rationale, options, and trade-offs to leadership/clients.
- Cross-functional alignment: Translate creative goals into language understood by marketing, product, and sales.
- Meeting facilitation: Run structured reviews with agendas, decisions, owners, and next steps captured.
- Asynchronous clarity: Maintain thorough updates in tools (Wrike/Jira/Asana/Figma comments) with @mentions and deadlines.
- Vendor & talent direction: Provide concise references, shot lists, and on-set guidance to photographers/crews.
- Documentation hygiene: Keep style guides, file naming, and asset metadata clean and accessible.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 to 9 years in art direction or senior design roles (agency or in-house brand), with a strong portfolio.
- Mastery of Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and working knowledge of After Effects/Premiere;
