Senior Assistant District Attorney

The Douglas County District Attorney's Office is accepting applications for a full-time Senior Assistant District Attorney. The position will manage a caseload of major felony cases while representing the interests of the State. It will also provide support and collaboration with other prosecuting attorneys. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of trial experience and a thorough knowledge of criminal law. The role offers a rewarding opportunity to serve the community and help uphold justice throughout the county.

Position requirements include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and prosecution experience. Additionally, the successful candidates must be admitted to the practice of law and in good standing before the Supreme Court of the State of Kansas and must also pass a criminal background check. Preferred successful candidates would be Douglas County residents or willing to relocate to Douglas County.

Salary Range is $104,582.40- $151,632.00 per year.
