SUMMARY
This client-facing role is ideal for an experienced security, audiovisual, or IT infrastructure systems professional. As a Senior Associate, you will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the planning, designing, and implementing integrated technology solutions that align with project goals, budgets, and timelines. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to deliver strategic, innovative system designs, from structured cabling and AV systems to network infrastructure and physical security. In addition to leading technical solutions, you will manage project teams, draft proposals, and oversee execution. , you'll also monitor projects' financial and technical performance, ensuring high-quality outcomes and a seamless client experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and document enterprise-class audiovisual, control, intelligent building systems, and AV/IT network requirements to support the systems
Design pathways and spaces, including equipment room rack/cabinet layouts and elevations, conduits, and cable trays, and specify infrastructure hardware
Research products and work with manufacturers and vendors to ensure the viability of the system designs
Assess client needs and develop a basis of design and budget
Read architectural drawings and create systems' drawings and/or markups on supplied backgrounds
Provide direction to and manage the internal project team(s) to produce high-quality deliverables within the project milestone dates
Profitably manage each project from kickoff to completion
Management of and participation in AOC and A/E teams on the development of new construction and retrofit of office buildings
Ability to directly engage with our clients for long periods with minimal management direction or oversight necessary
Maintain client relationships and penetrate existing clients
Evaluate RFPs and develop proposals
Support the sales and marketing efforts associated with attaining the fiscal goals and objectives, including writing proposals, business development, and client management
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Must be able to communicate and present to all corporate levels, possess excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills
Must be a problem solver and team player who can work independently, productively, and with minimal supervision
Proficiency with Bluebeam for construction document markups; CAD and/or Revit experience is a plus
Working knowledge of various Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Project.
Be detail-oriented and organized while multitasking and shifting priorities easily.
Knowledge of existing and emerging technologies, along with integration capabilities of systems, is preferred
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
5-10 years of experience in technology systems design or design/build field
Network design experience and CAD / Revit experience are a plus
Background should include systems design/integration, installation, project management, and systems research and development
Desired certifications: AVIXA: CTS or CTS-D, and PMP
Excellent communication skills
Strong ability to summarize, communicate, and track activity status
