TITLE: Senior Associate Data Analytics
Duties: Support our analytics initiatives, working closely with the analytics team to gather and analyze data, generate insights, and contribute to data-driven decision making. Support the analytics team in conducting data analysis, modeling, and reporting to deliver insights and recommendations. Gather, clean, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Develop models and forecasts to support business planning and decision making. Create presentations on findings and provide sound recommendations to leadership to influence strategic decision-making. Create and maintain data documentation, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures as needed. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality and data management processes. Hybrid work permitted 2 days per week within a reasonable commuting distance of Newark, Delaware office.
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
LOCATION: SMB Business Development, Inc., 300 Continental Drive, Newark, DE 19713
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics or related field of study and two (2) years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or closely related role where required experience gained. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, employer will accept a Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Analytics or related field of study. Also requires education, training, or experience in:
  • SQL;
  • Data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI;
  • SAS; and
  • Microsoft Excel.
