Role Overview

KoinBX is seeking a Senior Associate – Legal & Compliance to support its legal, regulatory, and corporate compliance functions. The role involves contract management, statutory compliance, regulatory coordination, and legal advisory support across the organisation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong legal judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple legal and compliance responsibilities independently.

You’ll be diving into these tasks:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of agreements including vendor contracts, MSAs, NDAs, partnership agreements, and other commercial documents.
• Manage legal and compliance requirements for Indian and overseas entities, including maintenance of statutory registers and timely regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with external legal counsels, consultants, and advisors on advisory, compliance, and litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulatory developments, and compliance requirements relevant to crypto, fintech, and digital asset businesses.
• Review and respond to legal notices, regulatory communications, and official correspondence.
• Maintain and monitor the legal and compliance calendar to ensure timely completion of statutory filings, renewals, and contractual obligations.
• Draft, review, and update internal policies, SOPs, and governance documents in line with applicable laws and regulatory expectations.
• Support internal stakeholders by addressing legal and compliance-related queries and providing practical legal guidance.
• Assist in managing litigation matters, including documentation, coordination, and tracking of case status.
• Perform other legal and compliance-related duties as assigned from time to time.
