The Role
Senior Associate – M&A Finance Professional Role Overview • EnergyX seeks an experienced M&A Finance Professional to lead financial due diligence and transaction analysis within the Strategy Team. • The role focuses on evaluating acquisition targets, supporting investments, and enhancing transaction readiness in coordination with Finance, Legal, and external advisors. Key Responsibilities M&A Due Diligence & Transactions: • Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence. • Analyze financial statements, quality of earnings, working capital, cash flows, and key risks. • Support transaction structuring, pricing, and post-deal integration. Data Rooms, Fundraising & IPO Support: • Prepare and manage financial data rooms, support investor diligence, financial summaries, Q&A processes, IPO readiness, financial documentation, and historical financial analysis.

Requirements
Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience: • 4-6+ years in M&A financial due diligence or transaction advisory. • Experience in cross-border transactions. Preferred Qualifications: • CPA / ACCA / CA / CFA or equivalent preferred. • Familiarity with IFRS (US GAAP is a plus). • Global transaction (M&A or IPO) exposure. • Qatari nationals preferred. Key Skills: • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. • Ability to identify risks and value drivers quickly. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
