PENNSYLVANIA SENIOR ATTORNEY

Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP (“the Firm”) is seeking a Senior Attorney to join our Pennsylvania Office. This is a key senior management–level role within the Firm’s national network, responsible for overseeing default operations, supervising litigation, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities Default Case Management

  • Oversee timeline management for Pennsylvania default operations to ensure full compliance with client and GSE requirements.
  • Monitor and review pending items in LPS, Tempo, and other client reporting portals; ensure the timely completion of all daily tasks.
  • Coordinate and designate work assignments in conjunction with the Business Manager.
  • Monitor compliance with required fee and cost requests.
  • Assist with client audits by working closely with designated Firm personnel.
  • Collaborate with the billing team to ensure timely billing across all matters.
  • Ensure all notices, pleadings, motions, and related documents drafted by staff are completed and reviewed by an attorney on time.
  • Monitor sale postponements and ensure proper reporting.

Routine Default Litigation Management

  • Supervise attorneys handling routine Pennsylvania default litigation.
  • Delegate litigation assignments to junior associates within the default division as needed.
  • Oversee completion of all required client reporting, including monthly or special reporting obligations.
  • Work with the billing department to ensure timely litigation updates in Serengeti and other client reporting portals.

Non-Routine Default Litigation Management

  • Ensure the timely uploading of all non-routine pleadings, notices, correspondence, and related documents to clients or GSEs.
  • Collaborate with Firm partners to determine strategies and responsibilities for complex matters.

Additional Default-Related Duties

  • Ensure timely upload and management of QWRs and FDCPA disputes in accordance with client requirements.
  • Oversee and assist in preparing responses to QWR and FDCPA disputes.

Staff Supervision & Department Operations

  • Participate in year-end employee performance reviews and provide recommendations for bonuses or salary adjustments.
  • Coordinate new-employee training with the HR Manager and designated Pennsylvania management personnel.
  • Conduct calendar meetings and workflow review meetings to ensure timely completion of milestones and litigation tasks.
  • Encourage professional development for staff and junior associate attorneys.
  • Provide input on updates and revisions to the case management system.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of job descriptions within the default division.
  • Provide input on new or revised default division standard operating procedures.

Firm Representation & Leadership

  • Participate in Firm-wide and local office marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the Firm in industry organizations, chambers of commerce, and bar associations.
  • Escalate potential problematic matters to the Firm’s general partnership.
  • Immediately notify Firm leadership of any cases, issues, or concerns that may create liability, institutional risk, or negative publicity.
  • Provide regular updates regarding milestone progress, staffing needs, and operational requirements such as office space, technology, and equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as required by clients, Firm leadership, or professional legal standards.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
