Senior Auditing Engineer

About the Job

Lead and conduct detailed energy audits, identify efficiency improvements, develop cost-effective solutions, mentor team members, and support clients in achieving sustainability, decarbonization, and energy-saving goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed energy audits and site inspections
• Collect data and install & fix loggers
• Analyze utility data & perform savings analysis and calculations
• Identify energy-saving opportunities, prepare audit reports & recommend efficiency measures
• Support project implementation
• Ensure compliance with standards and guide junior auditors in technical and reporting activities.
• Strong knowledge of energy auditing standards (ASHRAE Levels 1-3)
• Proficiency in data collection, logger installation, and energy analysis.
• Familiarity with energy modeling tools.

What We're Looking For

• 5-7 years of experience in auditing engineering processes, reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal controls
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering
• Experience in AutoCAD for building and system layouts.
• Experience in Energy modeling and simulation tools (e.g., RETScreen, eQUEST, EnergyPlus).
• Building Management Systems (BMS/EMS) and SCADA familiarity.
• Measurement & Verification (M&V) tools and calculators.
• Familiarity with HVAC, lighting, and industrial system control software.
