Senior Automated Technician

NKI is looking for a full-time Senior Automation Technician to help aid in next generation tools and system builds. This is an exciting position which will have you building, commissioning and troubleshooting next generation automated tools.

Salary: $45.01- $52.81per hour plus benefits

Responsibilities include:

• Adhere to safety standards all the time
• Take care of installation, maintenance, and inspection of control systems and workstation installations at the facility
• Provide technical assistance and support regarding all projects, installations, and repairs
• Ensure the use of a digital dashboard for thorough analysis and fault reviews
• Work smoothly with team members and site customers
• Assist in the specification, installation, and modifications of the systems.
• Conduct investigations; recommend changes and upgrades to equipment
• Ensure the calibration of all machines and maintenance after calibration
• Upgrade hardware and software for improved process control
• Maintain communication with different levels of departments and peers
• Conduct investigations; recommend changes and upgrades to equipment
• Prepare periodic reports on the progress made concerning faulty machines, errors, and processes
• Assist in the specification, installation, and modifications of the systems.
• Direct daily tasks of their crew
• Communicate findings, upgrades, and troubleshooting to colleagues and management through the e-mail, texts, and voice calls
• Travel 90% of the time

Required Experience:

• 10+ Years experience in Automation or related fields
• Highschool diploma or GED

Desired Experience:

• AA or Trade School equivalent
• Military service

Education:

• High-School Diploma or GED
