Senior Automation Engineer (OB)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RPA Developer to design, develop, test, and implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RPA tools (preferably Openbots/UiPath/Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere), programming, and process improvement. This role will be instrumental in streamlining business operations by automating repetitive tasks and enhancing system efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA bots and workflows using [Openbots/UiPath / Blue Prism / Automation Anywhere / other].

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Develop high-quality documentation, including solution design documents (SDDs) and process definition documents (PDDs).

Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize bot performance and scalability.

Mentor junior developers and support best practices in RPA development and deployment.

Ensure compliance with RPA governance standards, security, and best practices.

Support the automation lifecycle, including maintenance, enhancement, and monitoring of RPA bots.

Stay updated on the latest RPA trends and tools, suggesting improvements to existing automation solutions.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in RPA development with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.

Proficiency with one or more leading RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Experience with .NET, C#, VB.NET, Python, or similar programming languages is a plus.

Knowledge of APIs, web services, and databases (SQL, Oracle).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

RPA certification(s) from leading platforms is highly desirable.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience integrating RPA with AI/ML or intelligent document processing (IDP) tools.

Exposure to cloud-based RPA deployments (Azure, AWS).

Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines for automation solutions.
