Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automation systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to lead projects that integrate advanced automation technologies into industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation System Design: Develop and implement automation solutions for industrial processes.
• PLC & SCADA Programming: Configure and maintain programmable logic controllers and supervisory systems.
• System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of automation with existing IT and operational platforms.
• Process Optimization: Analyze workflows and implement improvements to maximize efficiency.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, IT specialists, and project managers.
• Innovation: Explore new automation technologies and contribute to R&D initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in automation engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems, SCADA platforms, and industrial communication protocols.
• Experience with robotics, IoT integration, and smart manufacturing solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver automation solutions in multinational or regional environments, ideally within the GCC.
