JOB SUMMARY
Win Win Operations is seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Cloud Consultant to support the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in maintaining, securing, and modernizing its AWS cloud infrastructure environment. This role serves as the primary technical lead for AWS administration, cloud security, compliance support, operational management, and cloud modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate is a senior-level cloud professional with extensive AWS expertise, strong federal compliance knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
- Serve as the primary administrator for AWS environments and accounts
- Manage AWS infrastructure operations, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization
- Support AWS billing oversight, usage monitoring, and cost optimization initiatives
- Implement and maintain IAM policies, MFA configurations, and security controls
- Maintain and support AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, and Route 53
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates, DNS services, and routing configurations
- Perform patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure AWS cloud architectures
- Support cloud modernization, migration, and optimization initiatives
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP security frameworks
- Support audits, assessments, security reviews, and ATO-related activities
- Address findings identified through security and compliance monitoring tools
- Develop operational documentation, runbooks, and status reports
- Coordinate with Museum leadership, IT personnel, vendors, and federal partners
- Provide technical guidance and communicate effectively with stakeholders
SCHEDULE OF WORK
Full-time support anticipated during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Additional support may occasionally be required for maintenance windows, incident response, or operational priorities.
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE
Hybrid role with regular onsite support required in Washington, DC. Some remote work may be permitted based on operational requirements.

Anticipated base year with option years.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 7 years of AWS cloud engineering and administration experience
- Experience supporting federal or federal-adjacent cloud environments
- Strong expertise with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Experience implementing identity management and MFA solutions
- Strong understanding of zero-trust security concepts and cloud security best practices
- Hands-on experience supporting:
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- NIST SP 800-53
- FISMA compliance
- FedRAMP environments
- Experience with AWS governance, monitoring, and cost optimization
- Experience supporting cloud security assessments, audits, and compliance activities
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess current certifications in good standing:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
- CISSP
- CISM
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience supporting museums, federal agencies, or mission-driven organizations
- Familiarity with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
