Senior Azure AI Engineer (RAG, Agent Systems & Azure Web Apps)

We are seeking a Senior Azure AI Engineer to design, build, and lead production-grade AI systems hosted entirely on Azure, with a strong focus on Azure Web Apps, Azure Container Apps, and cloud-native application design.

This role is for someone who is deeply experienced building, deploying, and operating AI-driven applications in Azure, and who actively leverages AI-assisted development tools to move faster and write higher-quality code. You will own technical decisions across architecture, implementation, and delivery, while remaining hands-on.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-native RAG systems using Azure AI Search, embeddings, and structured data sources
• Build and deploy AI services using Azure Web Apps and Azure Container Apps
• Develop backend services with Azure Functions, Durable Functions, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage
• Implement agentic and tool-calling workflows with clear orchestration and routing
• Integrate Azure OpenAI and external LLMs into secure, auditable systems
• Build secure internal dashboards using React / Next.js with Entra ID (Azure AD) authentication and RBAC
• Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Cloud Code, VS Code AI extensions) as part of daily development
• Containerize applications with Docker and automate deployments via GitHub Actions CI/CD
• Implement logging, monitoring, traceability, and evaluation across AI and application layers
• Act as a hands-on technical lead, guiding architecture and best practices

• Strong, hands-on experience with:
• Azure Web Apps and Azure Container Apps
• Azure Functions, Durable Functions, Logic Apps
• Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Key Vault
• Azure App Service, API Management
• Solid understanding of Azure identity, security, networking, and environment design

AI & RAG Systems

• Proven experience building production RAG systems
• Strong understanding of embeddings, hybrid search, and retrieval strategies
• Experience with agent frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangChain, AutoGen, MCP-style architectures)
• Familiarity with traceability, evaluation, and hallucination control

Full-Stack & DevOps

• 5+ years experience with Node.js / TypeScript and Python
• Frontend: React, Next.js
• Docker-based deployments and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Azure Web Apps / Container Apps in production: 3 years (Preferred)
