Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Engineer / Team Lead with strong expertise in Azure Service Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Synapse Analytics to lead a high-performing engineering team under our Joint Venture (JV) program. The candidate will design, develop, and manage cloud-native microservices and data integration workflows, ensuring scalability, reliability, and data-driven insights across enterprise-grade Azure environments. This role demands both hands-on technical depth and leadership capability to mentor developers, drive architectural excellence, and collaborate across multi-vendor JV projects.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Ownership
Architect and deploy microservices using Azure Service Fabric and App Services, ensuring high performance and availability.
Design and orchestrate ADF pipelines for ETL, data ingestion, and transformation across multiple structured and unstructured sources.
Develop and optimize data warehouse models in Azure Synapse Analytics to support enterprise analytics and reporting.
Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins with end-to-end automation.
Manage Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage for hybrid data storage and analytics integration.
Enable Azure Monitoring, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for proactive performance tracking and reliability.
Ensure security, compliance, and DR/BCP standards are met across Azure deployments.

Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a 5–10 member development team across backend, frontend, and DevOps roles.
Establish technical best practices, conduct code reviews, and guide architectural decisions.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and JV stakeholders to align with design and delivery goals.
Conduct training and knowledge sessions for developers on Azure microservices and data integration.
Oversee delivery timelines, quality benchmarks, and sprint execution under Agile/DevOps methodology.

Core Technical Skills
Azure Service Fabric – Microservice deployment, cluster configuration, stateless/stateful services.
Azure Data Factory (ADF) – Pipeline orchestration, data flow mapping, triggers, and automation.
Azure Synapse Analytics – Data warehousing, data lake design, and performance optimization.
Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub Actions – CI/CD and release management.
.NET Core / C# Web APIs, React / Node.js – Application logic and service integration.
SQL Server / Azure SQL / Cosmos DB / Blob Storage – Data storage and modeling.
Docker containers, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) exposure preferred.

Preferred Skills
Azure AD integration, API Management (APIM), Service Bus / Event Hub knowledge.
Experience with Power BI integration from Synapse datasets.
Familiarity with ARM / Bicep templates and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Hands-on with Service Fabric cluster monitoring and troubleshooting using Azure Portal / CLI.
Exposure to enterprise-scale government / regulated domains is a plus.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
Azure Service Fabric Certified – Highly desirable / plus advantage
