Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend systems utilizing technologies such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless communication between front-end interfaces and backend processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications using UML diagrams and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Implement microservices architecture leveraging AWS cloud services, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Conduct thorough debugging, unit testing, and performance tuning to ensure system stability and efficiency across multiple platforms including Linux and Windows servers.
• Develop database schemas, optimize SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Participate actively in Agile development cycles, contribute to code reviews via GitHub or TFS repositories, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in web development with a strong background in ASP.NET (including ASP.NET MVC), WCF, SOAP, RESTful APIs, Angular or React frameworks, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and XSLT.
• Extensive knowledge of application development using object-oriented programming (OOP) principles in C#, Java or Ruby on Rails.
• Hands-on experience with database design and management involving Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or PL/SQL environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure along with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of multithreading concepts, application security best practices, debugging techniques, and version control systems including Git or SVN.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies using tools like JIRA or TFS for project management.
• Ability to develop scalable microservices architectures utilizing RESTful APIs or SOAP web services for seamless integrations.
• Knowledge of front-end development including React Express frameworks to support full-stack collaboration is a plus. Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
