About the Role

BolTech Solutions is seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in NestJS, PostgreSQL, TypeORM, and Redis BullMQ.
You’ll be responsible for developing scalable backend systems, managing queues and cron jobs, and ensuring efficient data handling with robust validation using Zod.
While this role focuses primarily on backend development, familiarity with ReactJS is a plus for smooth collaboration with the frontend team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using NestJS and TypeScript.
• Implement and manage Redis BullMQ for job queues, workers, and retry logic.
• Create and monitor cron jobs and background processes.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases using TypeORM (entities, migrations, relations).
• Apply Zod for schema and data validation.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend integrations.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers working on ReactJS.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security best practices.
• Write unit and integration tests for maintainable and reliable codebases.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven hands-on experience with NestJS framework.
• Expertise in TypeORM and PostgreSQL (optimization, indexing, schema design).
• Experience in managing Redis BullMQ queues and workers.
• Knowledge of cron jobs, task scheduling, and background processing.
• Proficiency in Zod for type-safe schema definitions.
• Familiarity with ReactJS and API integration workflows.
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
